MIAMI—Lake Shore Plaza II and The AutoNation Building have won The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) and Earth award, respectively, from the Fort Lauderdale/Palm Beach Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Stiles owns both buildings.

The TOBY Awards recognize superiority in office and industrial buildings and reward excellence in building management. During the review process, all facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated—from community involvement and site management to environmental and green policies and procedures.

The coveted award was presented to Lake Shore Plaza II, Broward County's first multi-tenant office building to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. Located at 1300 Concord Terrace, Sunrise, FL, won in the 100,000 to 249,999 square feet category.

Stiles is the original developer of Lake Shore Plaza II, and has owned and managed the property since 2006. With a total of 128,470 square feet of office space, the property is home to New York Life Insurance, Emerson Electric, Global Medical Management, T-Mobile, and Florida Bar Association.

In the Earth award category, The AutoNation Building in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL won top honors. The building was recognized for its sustainable practices, such as energy conservation, indoor air quality, green cleaning, and tenant education.

Certified LEED Gold, The AutoNation Building is the second office building in Downtown Fort Lauderdale to achieve the green building credential. The property is located at 200 Southwest 1st Avenue and comprises 17 stories, more than 187,000 square feet of office, and 17,000 square feet of retail near Las Olas Riverfront. Tenants include AutoNation, EverBank, Beechstreet Capital, TBG Partners, and Pita Pit.
