FORT LEE, NJ-Construction of The Modern, two 47-story residential towers here, is slightly ahead of schedule, according to developer Allen Goldman.
Goldman, president and a partner of SJP Residential, a division of SJP Properties, says the first building should be ready for occupancy in late 2014. When completed, the towers will be the tallest structures in Bergen County, according to The Record.
Each tower will feature 450 luxury rental units, with rents starting from below $2,000 for a studio to about $5,300 for a three-bedroom unit.
“We're not just appealing to Fort Lee,” Goldman said. “We believe that this is a Bergen County, northern New Jersey residential development that's second to none. This will not only exceed anything that's ever been created in New Jersey, but it rivals the best of Manhattan residential rental.” See story in The Record.
