SAN FRANCISCO-W San Francisco Hotel and Storefront are hosting a competition to give eight brands a chance to sell their wares at the W Hotel Holiday Pop-Up Shop, free of charge.

The event will be held at the dynamic W San Francisco MIXX lounge, 181 Third Street, on December 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Artists, designers, and makers alike are invited to submit an application on thestorefront.com for a chance to win a free spot in the pop-up market. Brands and artists that sell unique, gift-friendly product offerings will be the strongest candidates for the pop-up shop.

W San Francisco design curation experts will select eight lucky brands to be included in the Holiday Pop-Up Shop. The W Hotel team will also offer advice and support for every winning brand's pop-up retail design for the event, helping each create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.

Each booth, which will be complimentary to the winning brands, is valued at nearly $1,000. Storefront will also provide free promotion, shopping bags with goodies, and pop-up insurance protection for each of the eight selected brands.

Storefront (www.thestorefront.com) is making retail accessible through its online marketplace for artists, designers and brands to find and rent retail space.

Located in the heart of the SoMA district, W San Francisco Hotel is a gathering place for art exhibitions, film screenings, fashion and music events.
