CALABASAS, CA–Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has named Richard Bird regional manager in Denver, according to John Kerin, president and chief executive officer.
A vice president of the firm, Bird also serves as the national director of Marcus & Millichap's National Self-Storage Group, a position he will continue to hold. Bird has been the regional manager of Marcus & Millichap's Salt Lake City and Las Vegas offices and sales manager of the firm's Denver, Salt Lake City and Fort Collins, CO offices.
“Leading the Denver office as regional manager is a natural progression for Richard and for the firm,” says Kerin. “He achieved exceptional success as a sales professional and has been expert at leading the growth of our offices in Colorado, Utah and Las Vegas. Richard will be a tremendous resource for our agents and clients in Denver.”
Bird began his career with Marcus & Millichap in 2004, specializing in the sale of multifamily investment properties throughout Utah and Idaho. In 2006 and 2007, he was the Salt Lake City office's top-producing agent. In May 2013, Bird was promoted to vice president and in June 2013 became national director of Marcus & Millichap's National Self-Storage Group.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Bird owned and operated his own business. He received a bachelor's degree in business management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from Brigham Young University.
