BALTIMORE-While analysts disagree as to who is the favorite, the winner of the casino license for Prince George's County will be made by the end of this month.

The three bidders are MGM Resorts International, Penn National Gaming and Greenwood Racing. The Video Lottery Facility Location Commission will pick the winner sometime this month, according to the Baltimore Sun.

The state intends to hold a series of meetings beginning this week and running until Dec. 20. All three casino proposals would cost hundreds of millions of dollars to develop and would be built at sites near where Interstate 95 crosses into the state of Maryland. See story in the Baltimore Sun.
