EASTVALE, CA-A 130-room hotel is now part of a development plan for the Goodman Commerce Center.

Those plans are currently before city officials here and available for public review and comment, but if they proceed, the 205-acre mixed use project may now include the hotel, according to local media reports.

The 145 acres at the center of the property will be zoned for light manufacturing, light assembly and warehousing/distribution uses.

The land is owned by Goodman Birtcher, a company formed by the Goodman Group, an Australia-based company considered one of the world's largest industrial property developers, and California-based Birtcher Development and Investments.

The Goodman Group has announced plans to expand into the North American market and the Eastvale proposal is one of the company's projects in the U.S.
