NORWOOD, MA-CMI Property Inc. said Wednesday it had leased a total of 79,000 square feet to three retail tenants at 560-570 Boston Providence Hwy. here. The three deals essentially lease up the former Syms Plaza, which CMI recently acquired.
Savers Inc., a Bellevue, WA-based clothing and household goods retailer, accounted for 43,000 square feet at the center. Peter Considine of the Dartmouth Company represented Savers in the transaction. William Zoppo and Elliot & Co. represented CMI.
Launch Trampoline Park, a family recreation center, leased 23,000 square feet of retail space. Elliot Ravech of Elliot & Co. represented CMI, while Daniel J. Waldman represented Ty Law Launch. The park is scheduled to open this month.
Big Bob's Flooring, a flooring outlet franchise, leased 13,000 square feet. Ravech represented CMI, while Waldman represented Big Bob's.
“These transactions mark the bulk of the former Syms Plaza fully leased,” says Ravech, who serves as the exclusive leasing agent for the property. “Only about 2,000 square feet of warehouse is left for lease now.”
In October, CMI purchased the two retail buildings, totaling 80,208 square feet located on an 8.5-acre-site in Norwood, MA. The property has major frontage on Route 1 and Access Road. The two buildings and parking account for seven acres, while the remaining 1.5 acres has been prepared for future development.
