HOUSTON-Locally based real estate firm Hines has been hired by Silver Peak and Cameron Real Estate as property manager for its 1001 McKinney office building in downtown Houston.
The 23-story building totals 375,440 square feet and is currently 79% leased. The property has achieved Gold certification under the US Green Building Council's LEED for Existing Buildings (EB) Rating System and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Formerly known as the City National Bank Building, the landmark Art Deco building was constructed in 1947 and was designed by Alfred C. Finn.
Tenants at the building include: Conley Rose, Kelley Kronenburg, McGlinchy Stafford, Shannon Martin Finkelstein Alvarado, and Thorpe Petroleum.
Commenting on the assignment, Hines director of property management, Rob Bridges, states “1001 McKinney has been a strong performer for decades and we are extremely pleased that Silver Peak and Cameron Real Estate see the value in our comprehensive property management services. Many owners think we only manage our own buildings, but half of our global portfolio is managed for third parties.”
Hines' Nicole Boudreau will serve as the on-site property manager.
