WASHINGTON, DC-U.S. District Court Judge Rosemary Collyer dismissed the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (Metro) on Wednesday in a $100-million lawsuit over property located above the Shaw-Howard/Florida Avenue Metro station.

The lawsuit was filed back in March by Rockville-based Banneker Ventures LLC, which claimed fraud, unjust enrichment, civil conspiracy and breach of a contract in connection to the redevelopment of property in the Shaw neighborhood of the district.

Judge Collyer has not as yet dismissed the counts against the remaining defendants—DC Councilman Jim Graham, D-Ward 1, LaKritz Adler Development LLC, Joshua Adler and Robb Lakritz. All defendants have filed motions to dismiss. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
