BRANDON, FL-An affiliate of the United States Automobile Association of San Antonio has paid $6.5 million for nearly 37 acres of land here where it plans to build a new 420,000-square-foot office facility.
The seller of the 36.73-acre parcel was Crosstown Owner, LLC, an affiliate of Parkway Properties of Orlando, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal. The project was announced in November.
USAA Real Estate has also acquired about 80 acres in Ruskin for a future Amazon distribution center for $14.6 million. See story in the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
