NEW YORK CITY-REBNY had a packed house for its Secrets of Top Brokers and Industry Leaders Seminar, “Step Into the Spotlight: Become a Star,” hosted by the Residential Division's Membership Committee on Thursday, Dec. 5. The discussion, led by moderator Vasco DaSilva of Exclusive Properties Sotheby's International Realty, gave brokers the tools they need to develop and maintain an authentic and unique personal brand identity that will help them excel in their careers and stand out in the industry.
Top brokers Vickey Barron of Douglas Elliman Real Estate and Renee Fishman of Halstead Property, LLC revealed how their personal brands—rooted in core values, goals, personal touches, and relationships built through involvement in REBNY—propelled their careers. Their stories of success and advice were bolstered by branding and public relations specialist, Suzanne Rosnowski of Relevance New York, who emphasized the importance for brokers to be goal-oriented and proactive, using clear, effective and consistent brand touch points to establish a voice in the industry.
