WASHINGTON, DC-Hilton's extended-stay brand Homewood Suites will manage the new hotel planned at 465 New York Ave. NW.
The property will be developed in the Mount Vernon Triangle by DC-based IGG Partners LLC. Plans call for relocating the 111-year-old historic building, currently housed at 465 New York Ave., to the western edge of the site, fully restoring it and incorporating it into a 13-story, 103,000-square-foot hotel, according to the Washington Business Journal.
The Homewood Suites hotel will be located near IBG's Yale West Apartments property. Homewood Suites will also take over management of at least part of 501 New York Ave. NE, an eight-story, 240-key hotel now under construction. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
