CHICAGO-Investment firm William Blair & Co. has inked a letter of intent to move its headquarters into a proposed office tower at 150 N. Riverside Plaza here.
The deal, if finalized, would be for approximately 300,000 square feet at the 1.2-million-square-foot tower building being developed by Chicago's own John O'Donnell, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
William Blair President and CEO John Ettelson confirmed the pending lease deal at the West Loop tower property. Employees of William Blair were informed of the headquarters move planned for 2017. The firm is expected to agree to a 15-year lease at the new building that is scheduled to break ground in the summer of 2014. See story in Crain's Chicago Business.
