FORT WORTH, TX-The Sinclair Building has been sold to a local investment group, Sinclair Holdings, LLC, according to local media reports.
The 16-story art deco office building at 512 Main St. was sold by Sinclair Building Partners, a a group that had owned the property since 2006.
Sinclair Holdings financed the bul with a $7.1 million loan with Southwest Bank in Fort Worth, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The building was about 60% occupied when the deal closed on Dec. 13. The 95,000-square-foot asset is a Texas Designated Landmark, and is also listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Completed in 1930, the Sinclair Building's anchor tenant for many years was the Sinclair Oil Co.
