MIAMI—Sean Williams has signed on with CBRE as a senior vice president. He will serve in the Multi-Housing Group in the Tampa office.
“As activity in Tampa's multi-housing market continues to accelerate, Sean will be instrumental in helping CBRE provide world-class service to clients and expand our market reach,” says Patricia Nooney, senior managing director of CBRE's Tampa office. “We're delighted to have him on the team.”
Williams, a former real estate director for one of the country's largest publicly traded multifamily REITs, will partner with CBRE Tampa veteran John Selby, along with the national CBRE Multi-Housing Investment Sales Capital Markets team. In his new role, he will work with institutional and private clients in the strategic acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties in the Tampa Bay area.
Williams spent six years as director of Real Estate Investments at Camden Property Trust, an S&P 400 company. In this role, he supported the firm's strategic investment goals through the execution of about $500 million of real estate transactions in Florida and Georgia. Prior to Camden, he spent six years at Apartment Realty Advisors as senior vice president, focused on executing in excess of $2 billion in capital markets transactional activity.
“We are thrilled to have Sean joining the CBRE Tampa team and expect that his significant multi-housing experience and industry relationships will add value to our clients,” says Bill Moss, senior managing director of CBRE's Orlando/Tampa region. Brian McAuliffe, senior managing director of CBRE's Multi-Housing Group, says, “Sean's background and experience will resonate positively with our clients. We're pleased to have someone of his stature join CBRE's Multi-Housing Group.”
