COLUMBUS— Last summer, when Integra Realty Resources named John Albrecht as its new CEO, Albrecht said that the firm had “more MAI-certified appraisers in the field than its competitors and great data assets.” And the New York-based firm now has four more holders of the Appraisal Institute's MAI certificate in its Columbus office.
Senior Director Brad Johnson and Directors Chad Harrison, Trevor Miller and Aaron Wright earned the designation, which recognizes experience in valuing commercial, industrial, multifamily, and other complex asset classes, as well as expertise in advising clients on real estate investment decisions. Appraisers holding the MAI designation have met rigorous requirements relating to education, testing, experience, and demonstration of knowledge, understanding, and ability.
“This latest group of professionals highlights our company's continual efforts not only to meet client demands, but exceed customer expectations by providing superior valuations and service,” says Bruce Daubner, senior managing director of the Columbus office and president of the Appraisal Institute's Ohio Chapter. “These designations further confirm IRR's leading position as a top valuation and counseling firm in the Ohio region.”
Integra has 66 offices and more than 200 MAI-designated members among its more than 900 employees in the US and the Caribbean.
Johnson has done appraisal work since 1998, with a primary focus on office and industrial properties, but has also done multifamily and retail, among others. Harrison has been in the business since 2004, with a specialization in Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects. Miller has done multifamily, industrial, retail, office, vacant land, and mixed-use developments since 2003. Wright joined the IRR team in 2008 and has experience with residential, retail, multifamily, mobile home parks, industrial, and office properties. He specializes in unique property types, such as auto dealerships, restaurants, funeral homes, and self-storage.
