WASHINGTON, DC-A six-screen Landmark Theatre will be the anchor for the Atlantic Plumbing development being built in the district's Shaw neighborhood.
The Landmark Theater will be the retail anchor for The JBG Companies' 310-unit residential project that is anticipated to open in 2015, according to the Washington Business Journal. The project will include 11,500 square feet of retail space in addition to the theatre. Landmark Theatres announced its deal with JBG in a press release on Wednesday.
Independent film-focused Landmark Theatres will also open a 10-screen Landmark Theatre to JBG's Capitol Point development being built on Florida Avenue NE. That development is scheduled for completion in 2016. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
