BOCA RATON, FL-The Palm Beach County Commission has granted a preliminary incentive package for an unnamed company that is looking to relocate its headquarters here.

The requirement, nicknamed 'Project Emblem” by local economic development officials, could create 225 jobs over the next five years in the county if it decides to go ahead with the move, according to the South Florida Business Journal. The company is a medical technology and treatment company based in the Midwest that employs 5,500 workers nationwide.

Business Development Board of Palm Beach County President and CEO Kelly Smallridge has previously statedother Florida locations were also trying to land the company as well. She expects a decision from the company in 30 to 60 days. See story in the South Florida Business Journal.
