SAN JOSE, CA-Hyatt Hotels Corp. is adding locations in the Silicon Valley market with two new properties planned for North San Jose.

The new $65 million Hyatt Place and Hyatt House project would include about 330 rooms between them, according to a report in the Silicon Valley Business Journal. They would be build on a six-acre site at the prime corner of North First Street and East Brokaw Road.

Hyatt has contracted to purchase land from South Bay Development Co., the website says, and it is hoped that construction would begin in the second quarter of 2015, and take 16 months.

The Hyatt project joins numerous others slated to add hundreds of rooms in the Silicon Valley.
