MIAMI-International discount grocer ALDI reports it plans to open three new store locations in South Florida over a two-day span later this month.
ALDI, headquartered in Batavia, IL, says it will open a store at 1460 W. 49th St., in Hialeah on Feb. 26, while stores at 19100 N.W. 27th Ave. in Miami Gardens, and at 747 S. Federal Hwy in Deerfield Beach will open Feb. 27, according to the Miami Herald.
Ribbon cutting ceremonies are scheduled to take place at 8:45 a.m. at the aforementioned new stores' opening days. The store openings will expand ALDI's portfolio in South Florida to 14 stores. The firm operates approximately 1,300 stores in 32 states, primarily from Kansas City to the East Coast. See story in the Miami Herald.
