BOSTON-Transwestern | RBJ has launched a property management platform for metro Boston. To lead it, Patrick Glynn has joined the firm as managing SVP.

"Property management is a new service platform for the Boston office, one we've been looking forward to establishing since becoming part of the Transwestern team, and Patrick is the perfect choice to lead the charge," says Steve Purpura, managing partner at Transwestern | RBJ. "He is a well-established industry veteran, with experience with a variety of property sizes and types, from downtown office towers to suburban office parks, to Cambridge laboratory complexes. We are looking forward to seeing the group thrive under his leadership."

Before coming to Transwestern | RBJ, Glynn was a general manager with CBRE. There, he oversaw operations for 10 St. James Ave. and 75 Arlington St., an 850,000-square-foot tower in Boston's Back Bay.

He previously held positions at Broadway Real Estate Services, Beacon Capital Partners and Fidelity Investments. Notably, he was general manager of one of the iconic John Hancock Tower, and achieved LEED Silver certification for 10 St. James. A member of BOMA Boston, he was recognized by the group as the 2011 High Rise Property Manager of the Year.

For his part, Glynn says his new employer is in "a terrific position to leverage the service offerings of the national firm with the local expertise and collaborative platform of the Boston office. It is an exciting opportunity." Houston-based Transwestern acquired Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, one of Boston's leading CRE services firms, this past September.
