TYSONS CORNER, VA-A broker representing Gannett, Company, Inc. says that the media giant is not looking to sell its two headquarters office towers here.
Dispelling rumors of such a sale, CBRE's Meredith LaPier says that Gannett is consolidating its operations at its owned office towers at 7960 Jones Beach Drive that total approximately 785,000 square feet of office space, according to the Washington Post.
"The building is not on the market for sale. Absolutely not," LaPier says. However, Gannett's consolidation will make approximately 140,000 square feet of space available for lease, she adds.
Maximus, a health and human services contractor, and Octagon, a sports and entertainment marketing firm, are already leasing space at the Gannett complex. See story in the Washington Post.
