CHICAGO-Sears Holdings Corp. continues its store closing campaign. The latest store closing is its "Craftsman Experience" location in River North.

A Sears spokesman says that the retailer does not anticipate renewing its lease for the 8,000-square-foot store at 233 W. Huron St. The lease for the space ends in June. Sears opened the outlet location in 2010 in an a effort to showcase its Craftsman tools, as well as DieHard and Kenmore products, according to Crain's Chicago Business.

Hoffman Estates, IL-based Sears operated the "Craftsman Experience" as a showroom that offered consumers new ways to interact with the brands, such as "hands-on project stations, live demos and clinics and a one-of-a-kind Craftsman retail store." The retailer also created brand-related Internet videos at the property and ran an Internet radio station out of the showroom. See story in Crain's Chicago Business.
