BOCA RATON, FL-The non-profit Boca Raton Hospital has purchased an office building formerly used as an imaging center on West Glades Road to expand its campus here.
The hospital acquired the 4,084-square-foot office building located on the border of its campus parking lot for $1.65 million from Signet Real Estate Holdings, according to the South Florida Business Journal.
"We acquired it given its prominent location on Glades and will utilize it in some fashion as we develop our master site plan," BRRH spokesman Thomas Chakurda said. "That said, we have no specific plans for the parcel at this time."
The hospital is currently developing the Marcus Neuroscience Institute, the Christine E. Lynn Women's Health and Wellness Institute and an ambulatory care center in Deerfield Beach. The hospital recently signed an affiliate agreement with the North Shore-LIJ Health System. See story in the South Florida Business Journal.
