ROSSLYN, VA-Monday Properties has selected Newmark Grubb Knight Frank as the exclusive co-brokerage leasing agent for 1812 North Moore St.
Brendan Owen, Ed Clark and Steve Hoffeditz of NGKF's Washington, D.C. office will lead the assignment, working with Tim Helmig, president and COO at Monday Properties, and its in-house leasing team.
1812 N. Moore St., of course, can be counted among Monday Properties' crown jewels. The company proudly bills the building, which recently delivered, as the "tallest and greenest" tower in the region, topping out at 390 square feet. Indeed, the sustainability creds of the tower are formidable, with its LEED Platinum certification and on-site access to the Metro's Blue and Orange Lines.
NGKF will also be leasing Monday Properties' 1000 Wilson Blvd., another prime asset in its portfolio. The Gold LEED certified office tower is a recognizable landmark in the submarket.
Besides the buildings' green bona fides, another big point their favor is their proximity to the District, a fact underscored by Monday as the marketing begins. "Looking out at the views from the Towers and 1812 North Moore will make you feel more like you're in Washington than folks who work in The District but don't get to see its most famous sites from their desks," says Anthony Westreich, CEO of Monday Properties, in a prepared statement.
