CHICAGO—Archer Daniels Midland Co. has selected the former United Building at 77 W. Wacker Drive here to be its new corporate headquarters.
The decision comes about two months after the agricultural giant announced it was relocating its corporate headquarters from Decatur, IL to Chicago. ADM is retaining its North American headquarters and more than 4,000 jobs in Decatur, according to Crain's Chicago Business.
The company leased 45,827 square feet on the 46th and 47th floors of the 51-story tower, says the United Building's General Manager Myrna Coronado.
Coronado, a vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., adds the transaction does not include naming rights. A total of 100 ADM workers will be housed in its Chicago office, including 60 who will relocate from Decatur and the rest that will be new hires. See story in Crain's Chicago Business.
