MORRISVILLE, NC—The Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors reports it has selected the winners of its ninth annual Frontier Awards, which included the Realtor of the Year honor going to James Allaire of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer.

Other top honors included the President's Circle Award, which was bestowed to Kathy Gigac of Colliers International of Raleigh-Durham. The Trailblazer Award was shared by Gary Becker of KW Commercial Realty, Joni Barnes of Pinpoint Properties, Sanjay Mundra of HPW Commercial and Ben Steel representing the office of Empire Properties.

Hunter Stewart of NAI Carolantic Realty, Inc. was named TCAR's Rising Star. TCAR's Development of the Year went to Northwood Ravin for St. Mary's Square and the association's Developer of the Year was Kite Realty Group.

“There is a reason why Forbes ranked Raleigh as America's second fastest growing city in 2014. It is in part due to the tireless dedication of the commercial real estate professionals,” says TCAR President Justin Good. “It is an honor to recognize these community leaders for their dedication to growing the entire Triangle region of North Carolina.”
