SPARTANSBURG, SC—Real Estate Capital Partners and IVG Institutional Funds have sold the Adidas U.S. Distribution Center here, a 1.9-million-square-foot, state-of-the art distribution campus.
The buyer and sale price were undisclosed. The deal was announced by Cushman & Wakefield's Atlanta Capital Markets team, which represented the sellers in the transaction.
Built in 2008-2009 as a build-to-suit for Adidas, the modern bulk campus serves as the sole distribution facility for Adidas in the U.S. and is a mission-critical component of the company's logistics network, Cushman & Wakefield reports. The buildings offer Class A+ features, including 38' to 40' clear heights, cross-dock loading, T-5 lighting, ESFR sprinklers, and significant onsite trailer storage. Located at 685 Cedar Crest Road in Spartanburg, the property directly fronts I-85 and is within two miles of I-26, which provides direct access to the Port of Charleston.
Cushman & Wakefield's Executive Director Stewart Calhoun, Executive Director David Meline, Director Samir Idris and Director Casey Masters worked closely throughout the disposition process with Senior Vice President Chris Norvell and Senior Vice President Brian Young of the Carolinas Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer Capital Markets Group.
