MORRISTOWN, NJ-After spending the last 15 years on Wall Street in the financial services industry, Andrew Schwartz has rejoined Cushman & Wakefield as a director in the Metropolitan Area Capital Markets Group based here.
Kimberly Brennan, the firm's New Jersey market leader, announced Schwartz' return to the brokerage firm. He will focus on middle-market investment transactions in the $2 million-$15 million range.
“We are pleased to once again have Andy in our ranks,” says Brennan. “He began his career at Cushman & Wakefield, and after spending the past 15 years on Wall Street, brings a wealth of financial knowledge and experience to his new position.”
Schwartz initially joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1985 as a broker in industrial sales and office leasing for eight years before leaving for Wall Street and the financial services industry. Most recently, he spent 11 years with Abel Noser, an agency broker and quantitative analysis firm where he provided customized financial analysis to investment managers at such firms as AllianceBernstein, Soros Fund Management and Wellington Management. Previously, he was a financial adviser for Morgan Stanley.
“Cushman & Wakefield was the ideal match between my professional desire and the CMG's need to expand their focus on the growing opportunity in middle-market investments,” Schwartz says. “It is also exciting for me to come back to where my career began – and to see so many people I worked with that are still here. I'm very excited about this opportunity.”
