ATLANTA—DTZ reports it has hired Christopher D. White as executive vice president, managing director of Atlanta operations for the global services firm. White will lead the locally-based team and will focus on tenant representation and occupier services, company officials state.
The global real estate firm that posted revenues above $2 billion last year, also reports it has hired Brian Boyd as associate vice president at its Atlanta operation. White and Boyd, who both formerly worked at Cassidy Turley, have a combined career transaction and portfolio management volume of more than 10 million square feet. They are currently working with high-growth companies that are looking to secure more than 500,000 square feet of space.
“Recognized as one of the top tenant representatives in metro Atlanta, Chris will provide strong and dynamic leadership across the Southeast Region. Combined with Brian's substantial experience and our existing team of professionals, DTZ's Atlanta office is well-positioned to serve our existing local and global clients,” says Greg Schementi, executive vice president and head of U.S. Occupier Services. “This well-respected team's unique consultative approach to occupier services will bring significant momentum at a time when DTZ is experiencing major growth.”
White brings nearly two decades of occupier strategy and transaction expertise in the office, industrial, call center and data center sectors, to DTZ's Atlanta operations. He has been instrumental in completing some of Atlanta's largest transactions and was involved with some of the most sophisticated workplace strategy accounts including The Coca-Cola Company, WorldPay, AT&T, ARRIS, Carter's, MARSH, Primerica, Sage Software, the State of Georgia and Delta Air Lines. He previously served as senior director at Cushman & Wakefield for more than 16 years, and, most recently as senior managing principal and Southeast Regional Occupier Services Leader at Cassidy Turley.
Boyd also joins the DTZ Atlanta team from Cassidy Turley where he partnered with White. Previously, he worked for eight years at Trimont Real Estate Advisors where he managed more than $2 billion in total debt and equity transactions
