WASHINGTON, DC—Retail properties rarely go on the market in Georgetown; that is not to say that when they do they will automatically sell quickly. Still, though, the submarket's tempo seems to be picking up lately.
Blake Dickson Real Estate is marketing a retail storefront located at 1740 Wisconsin Ave. for $1.275 million. The 1,800-square foot, two-story building is nestled among Safeway, Bistro Lepic, Starbucks, and several boutiques. The building also comes with 2 parking spaces in the rear.
Earlier this year 3150 M St. traded to War Horse LLC for roughly $12.2 million, or $1,835 per square foot. The 6,662-square foot property, which is fully occupied by Serendipity 3, was first listed along with another property in 2009.
Georgetown is also in the spotlight due to Vornado Property Trust's plans to sell its stake in the Shops at Georgetown Park.
