ERIE, PA—Home2 Suites by Hilton has opened its 32nd hotel and its third in the state of Pennsylvania here.
The McLean, VA-based firm opened its Home2Suites Hilton Erie property on Tuesday. The four-story, 79-suite hotel is located at 8035 Oliver Road and is owned by Chase Hotel Group of Erie, PA.
Among the amenities at the new hotel include an “Oasis” lobby area, the “Home2 MKT” for grab-and-go items, a combined laundry and fitness area, complimentary continental breakfast, an indoor saline pool, and gas grills for guests' use.
“Home2 Suites' continued growth and entry into new markets, like Erie, really showcases guests' overwhelmingly positive response to our brand,” says Bill Duncan, global head, Home2 Suites by Hilton. “With the hotel's proximity to local businesses and area attractions, this is an ideal location and we are excited to introduce our unique experience and innovative approach to our guests and the Erie community.”
The other Home2 Suites by Hilton properties in Pennsylvania are the Home2 Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh-Cranberry, which is scheduled to open in June of this year, and the Home2 Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Convention Center. Earlier this week, Home2 Suites opened a new hotel in Long Island City, NY.
