BALTIMORE—Those who crave local Baltimore fare will find familiar dining options at the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, which is expected to open its doors in the late summer of this year.

Area restaurants Tark's Grill, Heavy Seas, the Mallow Bar, Tark's at the 'Shoe, Lenny's Delicatessen and Pie-Zetta will comprise the “Baltimore Marketplace,” a casual dining area on the first floor of the $442-million gaming venue being built in South Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

“Our Baltimore Marketplace concept will feature a full range of flavors and fare,” says Robert Viox, vice president of food and beverage for the casino. “By bringing these area restaurants into the casino, we are creating a unique venue that incorporates great companies that will be familiar to many of our guests.”

Other dining options at the casino will include: Johnny Sanchez and Guy Fieri's American Kitchen and Bar, and Jack Binion's Steak House. See story in the Baltimore Business Journal.
