WASHINGTON, DC—Sage, an international publisher with a local office, is taking 25,000-square feet at the Watergate office building, located at 2600 Virginia Ave. It is moving from 2300 N St., NW, where it has been since it acquired CQ Press in 2008.

More than 50 Sage employees will occupy the one-and-a-half floors of the building when it moves in by year-end 2014.

Penzance recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation of the office, including the main entrance, lobby, and common areas. Including the Sage lease, Penzance has signed over 120,000 square feet of leases in the past fifteen months since it acquired the building

Tom Dwyer, Scott Frankel, and Jena Belinkie of CBRE represented Sage. Carroll Cavanagh and Herb Mansinne of JLL represented Penzance in the transaction.
