BOSTON—Locally-based Pyramid Hotel Group reports that veteran hotel management executive John Green has left Wyndham Hotel Group Management's employ to rejoin the company as senior vice president, asset management.

His extensive background in owner relations, brands and asset performance coupled with extensive operations experience combine to create a unique strength to improve asset value.”
Green was senior vice president of Wyndham Hotel Group Management's hotel portfolio for the Wyndham Hotel Group prior to his return to Pyramid. During his tenure there the group expanded from 14 to 50 hotels, generating more than $450 million in 2013 revenues. Concurrently, he was brand senior vice president of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, accountable for the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts franchise system, handling license partner relations and growing the group from 60 to 100-plus operating units.
In his first stint at Pyramid Hotel Group, he served as senior vice president and managing director of Pyramid Hotel Group where he was responsible for half of the company's owned and managed hotel portfolio in the eastern United States. During his four-years with the company he added 20 hotels to his group, including leading due diligence teams through five acquisitions.
Earlier in his career, Green spent nine years in operations with Wyndham International, rising to area director of operations in Chicago and later Boston, where he oversaw 18 hotels. Other experiences includes officer level positions with Signature Hospitality Resources and John Q. Hammons Hotels and operating positions with Doubletree Hotels Corporation, ITT Sheraton, AMFAC Hotels and Resorts and Marriott Hotels and Resorts. He attended the University of Texas, Austin.
Privately-held Pyramid Hotel Group has a portfolio of approximately 60 hotels and resorts under hotel management and asset management, comprising more than 20,000-plus rooms and approximately 9,000 employees.
