COLUMBIA, MD—Safeware, a distributor of safety and fire and rescue products, is taking 33,840-square feet at 7079 Oakland Mills Rd., an industrial facility owned by TA Associates. Jarred Testa and Tilghman Herring of Cassidy Turley represented the landlord. Mike Gillman with CBRE represented the tenant.
Safeware liked the building for its access to Interstate 95 because it gives them the ability to service their client base in and around Washington, D.C. as well as their growing clientele north of the D.C. market, according to Testa.
7079 Oakland Mills Rd. also has 193,000 square feet of warehouse/distribution space available for lease. The space can be demised and includes 78 trailer drops and outside storage.
