Wheeler/Brand Adds Three Leasing Execs

ATLANTA—Wheeler/Brand Management Co. reports that former EDENS executive Rebecca Waters has joined the firm as executive vice president of leasing. The commercial real estate firm also reports that Tara Borysiak and Bre Wagner-Clagett have been hired as senior leasing representatives with the firm.

“This group brings decades of proven leasing expertise that is sure to deliver value to our existing listings as well as those currently under negotiation,” says Scott Meadows, president, Wheeler/Brand Management Co., who joined the firm in January of this year. “Rebecca, Tara and Bre—along with our existing leasing representatives—are equipped to effectively lease space to quality tenants that will undoubtedly increase the overall value of each shopping center and office property.”

Waters, CLS, CSM, CPM brings more than 25 years of retail real estate experience to Wheeler/Brand. As executive vice president of leasing, she is responsible for directing the firm's leasing team and overseeing all associated activities. She previously worked at EDENS, Spectrum Realty Advisors (Colliers) and Aronov Realty Management. Recently, she was recognized for the revitalization of and tenant line-up at Merchant's Walk in East Cobb County.

Borysiak as senior leasing representative is responsible for leasing third-party retail assets throughout Metro Atlanta and the Southeast. With nearly 20 years of leasing experience, Borysiak has successfully negotiated more than 1 million square feet of leases at community centers, regional malls and new retail developments. During her career, she has held leasing positions with Westplan Investors, Simon Property Group and North American Properties.

Wagner-Clagett joins Borysiak in leasing retail properties within the Wheeler/Brand portfolio as senior leasing representative. Prior to joining Wheeler/Brand, she served as leasing agent at EDENS and began her career with The Shopping Center Group.
