NASHVILLE, TN—After closing on the sale of Southside at McEwan—a trophy retail asset in Nashville, TN that was one of the most highly contested retail offerings in that market in 2014—HFF is now working to sell another promising asset in the area. Northside at McEwan is up for grabs.
Hardly a trophy at this point, there's a blank slate for Northside at McEwan and it could turn investor heads. The asset is an undeveloped, 44.89-acre land tract in the Cool Spring submarket of Nashville.
HFF is marketing the asset for Amstar, the same company that just sold Southside at McEwan. HFF managing directors Jim Hamilton and Richard Reid are leading the charge.
“Northside at McEwen is located in Williamson County, the most affluent and fastest growing county in Tennessee,” Hamilton tells GlobeSt.com. “This offering represents one of the last opportunities to acquire this scale of undeveloped real estate in Cool Springs.”
The land is currently entitled for more than 870,000 square feet of commercial space, 580 attached residential units and 150 hotel rooms. Its counterpart, Southside at McEwen, a high-end grocery-anchored shopping center with Whole Foods front and center, came to market in 2013.
