LOS ANGELES—Elizabeth Braman, CCIM, has joined crowdfunding platform Realty Mogul as chief production officer, overseeing equity and debt investments. Braman is a former ReadyCap Commercial executive with 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate space.

“Elizabeth is one of the most impressive real estate professionals in the industry with an impeccable track record and she shares our core focus on using technology to disrupt the real estate markets,” Jilliene Helman, Realty Mogul CEO and co-founder says. “I have no doubt our originations will experience exponential growth under her leadership.”

Braman's success in originations is best exemplified during her time at ReadyCap Commercial. Serving as head of production, she grew the company's loan originations to $30 million per month. Her 15-year career includes experience in real estate lending, business development and sales. In addition to ReadyCap, she served as SVP at Skyline Financial's commercial real estate lending division.

Braman has carved out a reputation as one of the industry's leading experts and pioneers in using mortgage technology. Her career actually began in the technology sector. She was an attorney and founding member of a Washington D.C.-based company called Learning Objects. The software company today has more than 75 employees.

Although Braman has only just joined the firm, she was instantly asked to speak at RealShare Investment & Finance last week about the crowdfunding space. On the panel, Braman said that crowdfunding was an “early industry, but not a new industry. It's just a new medium for an old industry.”
