AURORA, CO—CBRE recently brokered an $8.3 sale-lease-back with Barton Supply, Inc., a privately owned portfolio company of Kodiak Building Partners, following the sale of the property. The 124,800 square foot building sits on 16.75 acres in Upland Park, Aurora, Colorado. The buyer was Gladstone Commercial Corporation, a real estate investment trust (REIT) based out of Washington, D.C.

Located at 14800 East Moncrieff Place, the property serves as the headquarters for Barton Supply, the market leader in rebar fabrication, structural and miscellaneous steel and concrete construction accessories for both commercial and residential buildings. The well-equipped manufacturing-distribution-warehouse facility is in the heart of the Airport/Montbello submarket, with proximity to downtown Denver, Denver International Airport, Stapleton Business Center, and the expressway system and rail service.

Tyler Carner, first vice president with CBRE's Denver Industrial Group noted, “the seller of the asset was able to capitalize on the current market conditions of capital chasing long term stable yield backed by functional and quality industrial real estate. There were multiple offers on the real estate and Gladstone was selected as the buyer.”

Jim Bolt, executive vice president, Mike Camp, senior vice president, Tyler Carner, first vice president and Jeremy Ballenger, vice president, with CBRE's Denver Industrial Group represented the seller.
