Voit Appoints Northbrook to Lead Local Office

SAN DIEGO, CA—Voit Real Estate Services says Eric Northbrook has been appointed managing director to oversee all aspects of Voit's operations in the San Diego office, according to Robert Voit, CEO of Voit Real Estate.  Northbrook will provide guidance and leadership to his team comprised of brokerage and real estate management professionals.

“We really wanted to ensure we found the right fit for our team and Eric will fill a critical role,” said Voit. “As part of our strategic initiative to further integrate our brokerage and real estate management platforms, the addition of Eric in the role of managing director will support this effort, enabling us to continue to provide tailored solutions to our clients.”

Prior to joining Voit, Northbrook served as executive director of brokerage services for Cushman & Wakefield of San Diego. While there, his focus was on the Central San Diego County and I-15 Corridor specializing in tenant and corporate representation. He also is an expert in representing institutional owners in the marketing and leasing of quality class A real estate. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Northbrook was with Colliers International for 12 years, where he was a consistent top producer.

As a result of an accident in 2006, Northbrook is the founder of HeadNorth, a nonprofit organization that enhances the quality of life for individuals and families afflicted with spinal cord injury. The organization is actively involved in spinal cord research and has partnered with the Sanford/Burnham Institute and UCSD to create the HeadNorth Chronic Spinal Cord Research Project.

In 2008, Northbrook was recognized by People magazine and Major League Baseball as a finalist for “All Stars Among Us.” Northbrook is a member of SIOR and was awarded the SIOR National Community Service Award in 2009.
