RUTHERFORD, NJ—Clermont Specialty Managers is relocating its operations from Hackensack to the Meadows Office Complex here.
The commercial property casualty insurance firm is leasing 18,768 square feet of space at the complex at 301 Route 17 North that is owned and managed by Onyx Equities. The deal was announced by Colliers International's Parsippany office, according to NJBiz. Colliers represented Clermont in the lease transaction.
The company is expected to complete its move to the 600,000-square-foot complex by the late summer.
"The asset's recent capital improvements, including the addition of a new cafeteria, conference rooms, and fitness center, among others, were a major draw for our client," Howard Kaplowitz, a senior managing director with Colliers, states. “The class A unit will also accommodate Clermont Specialty Managers' space needs as the company continues to expand.”
Kaplowitz and Colliers Executive Managing Director John Cunningham represented Clermont in the deal. Tim Greiner of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Onyx Equities in the lease transaction. See story in NJBiz.
