SEATTLE—Kennedy Wilson has hired Jeffrey Utterback as senior managing director in the firm's Properties Group. Based in Seattle, he is responsible for overseeing all third party property and construction management activities in the Pacific Northwest region and assisting with the expansion of the firm's property services division as well as supporting the firms' acquisitions efforts.
“Jeff's diverse background within the architectural, development, asset management and investment industries brings a great package of skills all related to the multitude of services we offer,” said Jim Rosten, president of Kennedy Wilson's Properties Group. “He brings a wealth of well-rounded expertise to our team which is exceptionally well-suited for our plans for the Pacific Northwest.”
Utterback's several decades of hands-on experience touches almost every aspect of the real estate world. Prior to joining Kennedy Wilson, he served as a senior investment officer with the Washington State Investment Board where he was responsible for co-developing a real estate investment strategy for seven real estate operating companies. Utterback has also been involved in international development, as managing director and owner of Develop Europe LLC and Develop Texas LLC where he was involved in the acquisition, development and disposition of properties in several asset classes. His background also includes 10 years of experience within architectural design.
A registered architect, member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Institute of Architects, Utterback earned both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin.
