BALTIMORE—The General Services Administration has issued a prospectus that reveals the Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking to replace its Baltimore field office at 2600 Lord Baltimore Drive and two other leased locations in Catonsville and Beltsville.

The agency is looking to consolidate operations into a 156,000-square-foot lease in the region. The FBI pays $7.4 million per year for the three leases, which total approximately 196,000 square feet, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

The 155,000-square-foot office lease in Woodlawn has already expired. The Catonsville lease expires in March 2015 and the Beltsville lease expires in January 2016.

The FBI will be looking for space in the city of Baltimore, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel and Howard counties. The lease could be valued at up to $5 million a year. The prospectus requires Congressional approval before a request for proposals can be issued on the requirement. See story in the Baltimore Business Journal.
