FINKSBURG, MD—The Baltimore Sun Co. LLC signed a 14,000-square foot lease for warehouse space 2920 Dede Rd. here. The 50,000-square foot facility, which was built in 1981, is owned by an LLC and is currently 88% leased.
Alan Orman and Robert Oare of Cassidy Turley represented the landlord. The Baltimore Sun was represented by Gail Chrzan of CBRE.
The Sun needed to quickly find a 14,000 square foot warehouse for newspaper distribution to serve Carroll County, according to Oare. "They liked the space and were impressed with the landlord's willingness to build a new loading dock and move them into the building within 30 days of lease signature," he says in a prepared statement.
