TAMPA, FL—Akerman LLP just inked Tampa's one of the largest law firm office renewal of 2014. The national law firm inked a 39,158-square-foot lease renewal and expansion for a regional office at SunTrust Financial Centre in Tampa's Central Business District.
JLL vice president Sharon Bragg represented the tower's ownership, Brookdale Investors Six, in the transaction. Akerman expanded to take the entire 16th floor and will also continue to occupy the 17th floor at the 36-story, class A office tower.
“JLL worked closely with the building ownership and the tenant's broker, Cassidy Turley, to meet Akerman's increased space needs and secure favorable renewal terms,” says Bragg. “With this significant transaction, the leading law firm keeps its presence in Tampa's urban core and the building keeps one of its most valuable tenants.”
