The university plans to build a new residence hall and dormitory building on 22 acres of land, according to NJBiz. The new residence building will more than double the beds at the campus, adding 425 beds to the existing 300.

“The academic building is designed predominately for the music and theater program,” says New Jersey City University President Dr. Sue Henderson.

The academic building will feature a 250-seat performance space, a 100-seat lecture hall, a choral room, dance room, practice space and general classrooms. See story at NJBiz.com.
