WASHINGTON, DC—Local non-profit Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington D.C. has entered into a contract to sell its headquarters at 1108 16th St. NW and relocate to a building it has acquired near Union Market.
The prospective buyer of Planned Parenthood's current headquarters at 1108 16th St. NW has plans to replace the four-story building with an eight-story structure that will contain 18,618 square feet of office and 20 residential units, according to the Washington Business Journal.
Planned Parenthood jointly submitted applications with Red A&W 1 LLC (DC-based Red Multifamily Development) with the Board of Zoning Adjustment.
In August of last year Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington D.C. purchased 1225 Fourth St. NE for $6.15 million. See story in the Washington Business Journal.
