NEW YORK CITY—Eastern Consolidated has promoted Steven Zimmerman from associate director to director. In the industry for just two years, the firm's 'Most Promising Broker of the Year' for 2013 has completed more than $100 million in sales transactions across all property types throughout Manhattan, particularly in Harlem, SoHo, and Washington Heights.
Zimmerman has orchestrated many noteworthy transactions since joining Eastern Consolidated in 2012 including the $20 million sale of 4-6 W. 37th St.; the $19.2 million sale of 23-25 W. 35th St.; the $18 million sale of 17 E. 47th St.; and the $16.8 million sale of 4 E. 46th St., among others. Previously, he was president of an executive search firm for the financial services industry.
“Steven has generated a high sales volume in such a short amount of time, having only been involved in the commercial real estate industry for the past two years,” says Daun Paris, president of Eastern Consolidated. “He has demonstrated outstanding growth and become an invaluable asset to our investment sales team with his in-depth knowledge of the market.”
Zimmerman is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
