ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. is reportedly considering filing bankruptcy again this week.

The gaming company, founded by Donald Trump, owns the Trump Plaza, which is scheduled to shut down on Sept. 16, and the Trump Taj Mahal, which according to Bloomberg News, could close this November. Developer Donald Trump has no active role managing the company. Robert Griffin, chief executive officer of Trump Entertainment, declined to comment.

In August, Trump filed a lawsuit requesting his name be taken off the properties. He licensed his brand to the Trump Entertainment Resorts on a royalty-free basis as part of a past restructuring.

The Trump Taj Mahal lost $35 million on $108 million in revenue in the first six months of this year, according to a filing with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Trump Plaza posted a loss of $9.8 million on revenue of $28 million during the same period. See story at Bloomberg News.
